WHAT IS MICROSOFT DIRECT ROUTING?

Microsoft Direct Routing is a feature in Microsoft Teams that lets organizations connect their existing phone systems to Teams. It allows users to make and receive calls using the Teams app, bringing together messaging, meetings, and calls in one platform. This is achieved by configuring a Session Border Controller (SBC) to bridge the on-premises telephony infrastructure with Teams.
